Tom Innes, spokesman for the flight to Britain, told Ynet that the organizers of the fly in are expecting a total of 500 to 700 participants.

He added that people would be flying in various cities across Europe Friday and said it would on a flight to 2-3 h autour and see no reason why he was unable to visit Bethlehem.

Innes said he felt that it was important to note that the groups visited not Israel, but the current situation is forcing him to pass through Israeli passages to reach Bethlehem. He added that he hoped that the Israeli Government would.

Innes has dismissed claims that flight participants were interested to come to Gaza, saying that they were "invited by Palestinians to stay in Bethlehem friends."

He denied any intent to cause a violent interruption at the airport, saying that those who come to fly in more were "fair tourism".

According to Innes the proximity of the flight of the flotilla to Gaza was completely a coincidence.
