(RTTNews) - bombing on Egyptian pipeline has reduced the flow of gas for Israel and the Jordan, reports said.

Saboteurs hidden with weapons made attack Nagah pumping station in the area of Bir al-Abed in the peninsula of Sinai North Monday. No casualties were reported in the explosion interrupt the flow of gas, and sent flames and a column of smoke into the sky.

It was the third attack since a popular uprising overthrew President Hosni Mubarak in February. The previous attacks had cut off gas supplies for Israel and Jordan and supplies restored on 10 June.

Egypt exports the gas in Israel since 2008 under an agreement with preferential conditions, despite public opposition widespread because of the blockade of the Gaza Strip Israel.

Egyptian gas generates 80 per cent of electricity Jordan and 40 per cent of the consumption of natural gas of Israel.

Egyptian officials have tried to edit the long-term agreements with the two neighbouring countries since the eviction of Mubarak.
