Provider of consumer SSD OCZ won an OEM level-1 for its line of business cell multilevel flash Deneva.
OCZ, known for its top and Onyx consumer State solid drives (SSD) has unveiled a range of business drive called Deneva earlier in the year. It uses multi-level cell (MLC) flash paired with 1500 Sandforce controllers and offer blocks of data, sequential reading of 285 MB/s, up to 50,000 IOPS with 4 K and 275 MB/s sequential writes. OCZ says company MLC can be used, a version of MLC flash with longer working. Micron produces this kind of flash.
There are various interfaces available - Fibre Channel, PCIe, SAS and SATA - and various form factors too: 1.8 inch, 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch.
