She received one year in prison to be served consecutively, on each of the four counts of providing false information to the application of the Act. As a fine of $1,000 for each count, plus court costs.

"We are gonna figure the credit for the period of time." It will take us about an hour to sort out because the sentences earlier it has been given, "said Perry. "But the good times and save time, according to preliminary figures, some time in early August." Maybe late July. But I can't say that until I first determine served time. And then the prison if apply, according to their figures, their time and time they have won in this sense, "Perry stated on the release of Anthony, reports CBS affiliate WKMG."

Casey Anthony vowed: "sick to our stomachs" to his conviction non - ABC News

Juror Casey Anthony Jennifer Ford said today that she and the other jurors were crying and were "sick to our stomachs" after having voted for Casey Anthony charges that she killed her 2 daughter Caylee.

"I did not say that she was innocent," said Ford, who had already been identified only as juror 3 number. "I said that it was not enough evidence." "If you can prove what was the crime, you cannot determine what should be the penalty".

Jaw of the jury, leaving the guilty verdict not shocked observers of the Court, but it is also a difficult time for the Group of experts, Ford said in an exclusive interview with ABC News. The assessment of the jury, no one was ready to go out and talk to the media in the hours after the verdict.

"Everyone wonders why was us talking to the media immediately," Ford said. "" "". It was because we were sick to our stomach to get this verdict. We were crying and not only women. It was responsible for emotions and we were not ready. "We wanted to do with integrity and do not contribute to the sensationalism of the trial".

Instead of murder, Casey Anthony, 25, was found guilty of four counts of lying to the application of the Act and could be released from prison Thursday.

Ford praised the jurors.

"They chose a large group of people, such high integrity." "And he had high morale", she said. "We're all joked." "We are a large group of cousins".

Casey Anthony Attorney: "everything is down due to the death".

Earlier today, Attorney and another juror agree on why the jury refused to condemn Anthony: they could not prove how little Caylee Anthony is dead.

"All came down to the evidence," said Florida state attorney Jeff Ashton on "opinion". "I think that ultimately it came down to-at least that the alternate said - he got to the cause of death.".

Russell Huekler, one of the five alternate jurors who were present for all the evidence and sequestered with 12 other jurors, said today that he would be delivered the same verdict and that he was shocked by the indignation of the people on the outcome of the trial.

"The prosecution failed to prove their case and there is reasonable doubt." Once more, they do show how Caylee is dead. They do show a motive. I'm sorry to think that way. ... It was total jurors 17. They were really listening to this matter and keep an open mind, Huekler has.

Prosecution has been hampered by the fact that the body of Caylee Anthony was not discovered until six months after that she has disappeared. It was found in a marshy area, forested. His body has been so decomposed that the autopsy could not determine the cause of death and said that she was the victim of a homicide by undetermined means.

"I do not think that it was the lack of DNA" from Casey Anthony to the death of his daughter which undermined the case, Ashton said. "It was the cause of death."

Ashton said that he and his team they put on a good deal.

"We were quite shocked" at the verdict, he said. "We have all produced a survey, a really thorough investigation into three years." This is how it goes. I think that 'wow' nose runs five times. »

One of the most powerful pieces of evidence, he said, was the photo of the decomposed skull of Caylee with pieces of tape where his mouth and nose would have been.

"What I have said all along, if a jury considers this photo and it is not the way to and does not know how she died, while," said Ashton. "I would not have been involved in this case if I didn't think it did.".

Huekler said that he believed dead in the Caylee was just a horrible accident, and that Casey Anthony was a good mother.

"The first number of witnesses was a friend of Casey and whenever they said Casey with Caylee, they saw, it is a romantic relationship, and no one provided evidence to the contrary", said Huekler.

Huekler said the lack of physical evidence that Caylee was murdered submerged indirect evidence of lies lots of Casey Anthony and his hard day in the 31 days when she knew that her daughter was dead, but does say authorities.

"Yes, the behavior was bizarre, but that I have are that the family was very dysfunctional." Because they were so dysfunctional, which was the standard for them. Casey did not just start lying for 31 days after the disappearance of Caylee]. She had been lying for the last two years...I feel that it is the standard for it, "said Huekler.

Huekler also said that it doesn't bother him that Casey Anthony did not testify in his own defence.

Mark Lippman, a lawyer for the parents of Anthony, said "good morning America" today that George and Cindy Anthony were shocked by the verdict, not because they believe Casey Anthony is guilty, but because they believed that the State did a fantastic job presenting their case.

George and Cindy Anthony were not satisfied with their daughter since his trial began, but they hope to achieve with it and one day the truth about what happened to Caylee.

"There was a slim chance that we had hoped to get a few slivers of truth in this test and that would have been by the testimony of Casey…hopefully one day she tell you its story, but who knows what to believe", said Lippman.

Anthony trial: pivot momentsLegal experts say that Casey Anthony could go free Thursday a jury perform fresh murder Anthony "Why can't make money off the coast of history?" Why cannot Casey do it? an expert legal saysTune in to the HLN "Nancy Grace" at 8 p.m. (et) Wednesday as Nancy Grace live reports from Orlando. HLN also distributes "Justice for Caylee: A Nancy special Grace" at 9 am and Saturday. And share your reaction to the verdict.

(CNN) - don't be surprised if Casey Anthony walks of prison a free woman after sentencing Thursday, legal experts say.

Also don't be surprised if Anthony cash book or movie deals - as his acquittal on serious charges now means that it is free to take advantage of its history, the experts say that.

With Tuesday not guilty verdict of fresh murder behind her, Anthony - and riveting thousands each twist in the case - now turn their attention to Thursday when the 25-year-old will learn his fate.

A jury Tuesday found Anthony not guilty of murder in first degree, the child abuse homicide aggravated by the death of her daughter Caylee, 2008.

But it still faces sentencing on four counts of lying to the police concerning a missing person case.

Each head of crime results in a maximum penalty of one year in County jail, which judge Belvin Perry has the possibility to sentence successively or simultaneously.

Florida v. Casey Anthony: a look back

Many legal experts believe that anthony will be released served time because it has already been imprisoned for about three years.

"I would be surprised if she is not walking out of the courtroom Thursday", said the defence lawyer Atlanta Penny Douglas Furr. "It was so much time already." I do not think that the judge will to serve any more time. Now, the real question is, what it will do then. »

No there are no legal restrictions on Anthony benefit on the details of this case, cashing the trafficking of movies, books or interviews, say analysts.

Because of his acquittal, called son of Sam laws — laws designed to prevent criminals from making money from their crimes - do not apply, they say.

"Why can't make money off the coast of history?", said Drew Findling, another defence lawyer. "You have seen many cases where witnesses for the prosecution took the case." Look at the O.J. Simpson case and how the Attorney, who lost the case, has written books and made money later. Then why cannot Casey do it?

Nancy Grace of HLN, who took the case extensively since Caylee Anthony was reported missing, does not mince his words on Anthony possible plans.

"Now MOM tot finally has the good life that it wants to." It is free, "Grace said on his show Tuesday. "She will walk free this Thursday." It has implemented to make probably more a million dollars off the coast of the murder of her 2-year-old Caylee Anthony daughter. »

Emotional, unsatisfactory ending for a follow-up of many cases of Anthony

The seven-week long trial ended with 11 hours of deliberation when a jury of Orange County, Florida, found not guilty of the most serious charges Anthony.

The jury in the case refused to speak to the media, as did four alternate jurors.

The jurors Anthony refuses to speak to the media

The fifth, Russell Huekler, told CNN that he agreed with the verdict "of any heart."

"The prosecution has not proved their case", said Huekler. "The big question which was not answered: how Caylee is dead."

Analysts: Jury of Anthony troubled by any cause of death, other factors

In dozens of the trial, along with outside the Orlando courtroom for a blow of eye on the show. Procedures featured allegations of sexual abuse, questions about the jurisdiction of Anthony and various theories about what happened to Caylee.

Prosecutors alleged Anthony used chloroform to his unconscious daughter and then duct-recorded his mouth and nose to smother her. They allege that it has developed the child's body in the trunk of his car for a few days before disposal.

Counsel for the defence of Anthony maintains that Caylee was murdered at all. They said that the child drowned in the pool surface of Anthony on July 16 and Anthony and his father, George, at the conclusion of her panicked and covered up to the death.

Anthony Attorney, Jose Baez, also alleged that the father of Anthony he sexually abused from the age of 8 and she had taught to hide his pain. Education explained bizarre behavior for some Anthony at the time her daughter was missing, he argued.

According to the testimony, Anthony was not frantically for her child disappeared as it more later from police. Instead, she moved out of the House of his parents and stayed with his friend, Tony Lazzaro. It also a tattoo saying "bella Vita" - in Italian "beautiful life" - and went shopping, witnesses said. It causes of Orlando nightclubs and participated in a competition "hot body" at a given time, according to the testimony of.

George Anthony dismissed molestation in testimony, saying: "would never do something like this for my daughter."

Throughout the trial, the pain experienced by Anthony family was evident.

His father and mother sobbed on the stand sometimes Recalling their granddaughter.

George Anthony also wept as he testified of his attempted suicide in January 2009, which was shortly after that of Caylee remains have been identified.

ORLANDO, Fla | Tue, July 5, 2011 3: 00 pm EDT

ORLANDO, Fla (AFP) - the jury of the Florida Tuesday said Casey Anthony not guilty of murder in the death June 16, 2008, of its 2 year daughter, Caylee, in a case that riveted millions since Caylee was first reported missing in the same year.

The defence had argued that Caylee was killed in an accidental drowning.

The prosecution said she smothered his daughter and asked for a first degree murder verdict which could bring the death penalty for the 25-year-old.

Jurors deliberated 11 hours over two days.

The jury also said Anthony not guilty of child abuse or aggravated manslaughter of a child.

It has been recognized guilty of four counts of providing false information to a law enforcement officer.

Anthony appears visibly nervous before the verdict, downcast and biting his lip.

She sobbed after the jury is not guilty finding to the charge of murder was read and finally broke in a broad smile after the end of the procedure, hugging the defence team.

But no there was no contact with his mother and his father, who left the courtroom without talking about it.

Anthony had initially told detectives that Caylee was abducted by a nanny, triggering a search at the national level which ended on December 11, 2008.

This is where Caylee remains found in woods near the home of Anthony with duct tape hanging from his skull.

The trial lasted seven weeks and has attracted the attention of a large part of the nation, with curiosity, fuelled by the live coverage of the testimony on cable news. The notoriety of the case has prompted comparisons to the O.J. Simpson murder trial.

Casey Anthony trial: prosecution, the defence get last chance to argue their point - Chicago Tribune

When the jury hear the arguments of closure Sunday in Casey Anthony murder trial, they will be reminded that submissions of counsel are not evidence - and not the facts Panel must make its verdict.

Yet the trial counsel maintains that closures are essential to their business. They represent the last time lawyers to speak directly to the jury to pass the merits of their case. As its name indicates, closing arguments are focused on what legal defenders should do better: support.

"Perhaps the most important goal of the argument of the close is to provide sympathetic jurors at your side with points that will allow them to convince undecided or incredulous jurors," said a Florida Bar Journal 2003 column entitled "Avoiding the pitfalls in closing Arguments."

"This is an opportunity to explain how the promises you made in the opening have been met, and conversely, how the promise of the other side have been neglected," authors Ronzetti Tucker and Janet l. Humphreys noted in the article.

With counsel for the defence of Casey Anthony José Baez so bold promises in his opening statement, many legal experts and advocates of this case say that Baez will have a difficult time today to reconcile what he argued from the beginning with what his team has shown in recent weeks.

The greatest promises in the minds of most experts include claims that Casey Anthony has suffered sexual abuse by his father, George; only his daughter, Caylee, died in an accidental drowning; and that his father knew about drowning and helped dispose of the body.

"No there was absolutely no evidence to support", said the Miami-based criminal defense attorney and former Prosecutor Daniel Lurvey. "I cannot my head around what thought [Baez]." His closing argument got to be what it would have been from the beginning: they [the State] have not proven their case beyond a reasonable doubt. »

Unnecessary burden

The problem with Baez opening is that it has created a competing theory for how Caylee is dead - and an unnecessary burden for the defence. In fact, he has insisted that it was an accident. Jurors now are "Comparing theories," Lurvey said, instead of just assessment hypothesis of the prosecution.

This tactic could have helped the defence had made a convincing argument on the death of Caylee, but each legal expert familiar with this trial, contacted for this story and others, accepted the defence did not a credible alternative theory.

Lurvey and others suggest that closing arguments, Baez must abandon claims at the beginning.

"Flawed,"Lurvey said,"with hindsight, Yes, he has to ignore it."

Casey Anthony, 25, is charged with first degree murder in the death of Marie of Caylee daughter 2 years in 2008. If the alleged convicted, she faces a possible death sentence. If issues would be higher for lawyers of these closing arguments.

For the prosecution, experts expect to see veteran Deputy Prosecutor Linda Drane Burdick give another clinical presentation which focuses less on Caylee and more about his mother, the accused. It will be designed to help jurors reconstruct large circumstantial evidence in the case.

They say that the prosecution can play dramatic 911 calls from July 15, 2008, when Cindy Anthony discovered her granddaughter had been absent for a month and thought that she had been removed.

"You always want to send to the Board in the deliberations with a few image in their minds," said Bob Jarvis, Professor of law at Nova Southeastern University. "I think that it's going to be extensively examined why this circumstantial evidence in Casey and only Casey points." And why it could not be all these other theories which have spun out.

Some experts recognize that the defence will claim that the State did not meet its burden of proof, then that he was driving home to the point that the prosecution knows yet exactly how Caylee is dead.

Jarvis said he expected Baez suggests it is the story of a "" dysfunctional family terribly, an accident and a camouflage... not a murder. ""

"The defence has nothing to do." The defence is always the presumption of innocence, "said Jarvis. "The problem of defence [Casey Anthony] is that José excessive Baez in his opening statement." The jury sits there saying, ' is that really all you have? Why did you tell us all these things? » "

Casey Anthony murder trial resumed at 1: 00.

Earlier, the Chief Judge Belvin Perry suspended debate indefinitely to give time to the defence of the Casey Anthony to rebuttal State witnesses.

"We will be in recess subject to the appeal," Perry said counsel for this morning. "Be prepared to be here late this evening."

Perry also said lawyers expect to work through holiday weekend. He noted that the jury is sequestered and "these people are ready to go home."

Jose Baez defence counsel complained that two prosecution experts are essentially offering the new notices have not been disclosed.

Deputy Prosecutor Jeff Ashton submitted expert testimony was shared with the defence and that the views are limited. The testimony involves examination of the skull of Caylee and if residue found inside was organic.

Baez said, "they may decide to ambush defence after the defence has justified his".

But Perry warned that he hoped that the question raised by the defence is a true. And it asked to review the reports of the experts.

"There are real problems and imaginary problems", said Perry.

Procedures should continue until the end of the week, including Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Thursday, Casey Anthony, 25, said that she would not testify and his defence rested its case.

Anthony is charged with first degree murder in the death of his daughter. Remains of the child were found in the woods near the House Antoine in the County of Orange is in December 2008. It was worn disappeared in July of this year.

The prosecution presented evidence that Casey Anthony conducted incriminating searches of computer home Anthony, including searches for "chloroform," a chemical substance believed to be involved in the death of Caylee.

High levels of chloroform were linked to the trunk of Casey Anthony Pontiac.

However, his mother, Cindy Anthony, testified at trial that she has researched chloroform on the computer at home in March 2008.

The prosecution wants to use work Gentiva and leaders of the company documents to show that Cindy Anthony was at work during the period of the research carried out from his home computer.

The defence of Anthony called final witnesses - msnbc.com

ORLANDO, Florida - Casey Anthony Defense had to rest Thursday after calling its witnesses final, even if it is still not known if the mother of Central Florida will stand to answer questions on whether she killed his 2 year daughter, Caylee. Site "Dear photography" will you to call your MOM that it is only a few weeks old, but DearPhotograph.com already has a huge following and was awarded a contract for the book for its founder of 21 years (who still lives at home with his parents). What is - this blog this photo packs a such nostalgic wallop? Pay to try clothes? Stores facing fresh cloakroom Palin application why celebrities are House skinniest of "so full of hate" New York on the market for $ 4.3 million extraordinary bond between the father, the daughter

A woman who said that she had a liaison with the father of Anthony was the first witness called Thursday. George Anthony has denied having an affair with Krystal Holloway, who was also a volunteer who has contributed for his granddaughter in 2008.

In testimony, George Anthony said that he knew Holloway: River Cruz and he visited his home a handful of times in 2008, but only to comfort her, that she was confronted with a brain tumour.

Holloway read George Anthony text messages sent him and describes the media frenzy surrounding their relationship and his family.

On Wednesday, the defence may have been brought a blow when the father of Casey Anthony broke into tears when telling jurors about his suicide attempt some six weeks after the body of her granddaughter was found. Lawyers argue that the Caylee are not dead the hands of his mother but accidentally drowned in the pool of his grandparents, and George Anthony helped cover.

In his suicide note, January 22, 2009, he said that he was trying to overdose because he had no response to questions about what happened to Caylee and never alluded to know what caused his death. Pressed by prosecutors on why he tried to commit suicide, he began to cry and said: "I need at that time to go with Caylee.

When asked by Attorney Jeff Ashton if he expressed in his note, he said: "Yes." Because I believe that I had failed, "and broke into tears."

When his father was crying, Casey Anthony expressed no emotion, although earlier in the day, she had been crying in other evidence.

The defence objected to the attorneys admitting note of suicide as evidence. Ashton explained that the defence had been attempted suicide and that the note indicates when George Anthony attempted to commit suicide, he "had no idea who killed Caylee Marie Anthony." "It refutes impact by the defence there."

If the defence is based, it would leave only a court by the prosecution rebuttal case. Judge Belvin Perry said temporarily closing arguments could begin Saturday and that he would give the case to the jury this evening or Sunday.

Anthony, 25, is charged with first degree murder in the death of Caylee in summer 2008. The prosecution contends that it stifled the child with adhesive tape. The girl remains were found in the Woods in his grandparents in December of this year.

Karin Moore, a Professor of law at the University of Florida A & M, said referring to the suicide attempt is a faux-pas by counsel for the defence lead Jose Baez.

"I believe he failed on him," said Moore. "I think that his intention was to design an inference of the jury that George Anthony tried to commit suicide on the allegation of abuse and the death of Caylee." He opened the door and Ashton rightly points out it. »

Also Wednesday, a grief expert testified that it is plausible for a young person face a death behaviour even anthony Casey made the month after prosecutors say that caylee was killed. The toddler had not been seen for a month before the Anthony family has reported to the police.

Several witnesses have said that anthony Casey spent his time partying and the child was with an imaginary nanny.

Professor of the University of Florida and the grief expert Sally Karioth never interviewed Anthony, but when the defence counsel Dorothy Sims set a hypothetical scenario with the facts of the case, she testified that was not inconsistent with the pain that it is observed in similar situations. Karioth has already testified in the case of the murder of Susan Smith, who has been recognized guilty of drowning her children in South Carolina.

"Young adults are complainants reflective and often act like nothing happened", said Karioth.

The defence has tried to paint the family as dysfunctional Anthony and said in his opening statement that George Anthony molested his daughter when she was a child.

Ashton pointed out that the suicide note did not any reference to molest Casey Anthony. Baez again took the opportunity for George Anthony of press on the charge.

"Mr President, I would never do something like that to my daughter," said George Anthony.

The defence also objected to prosecutors asking George Anthony on a weapon to fire it purchased in August 2008, but Perry agreed that the jury could hear him.

With the jury room, George Anthony said that he planned to use the gun to try to get the friends of his daughter to tell her what happened to Caylee.

When the jury returned, George Anthony began to cry as he told the emotional months before his suicide attempt.

Also, he said, that he has never the opportunity to confront the friends of his daughter because the application of the law confiscated the gun the next day, he buys. The firearm was not allowed in the House as a condition of binding of Casey Anthony because she was living there.

Casey Anthony trial: George Anthony admits having covering the death of Caylee? -Etidbits.com

In what could be the last week of trial Casey Anthony in Orlando, Florida, meter reader Roy Kronk took on the stand and revealed that his calls to the police are unnoticed, after it was initially reported that he saw something suspicious in the Woods where the daughter of Anthony Caylee was buried, and that the body of Caylee Anthony could be discovered up to 4 months earlier, if the police did a search of the wood.

Kronk revealed in court Tuesday that he initially challenged when he first find what he believed to be a human skull (which would later be revealed for Caylee), he said to his colleague to accompany him to display the object in question. When Kronk and his friend go to investigate it, they find a dead Rattle snake, them distract what they came to see, according to Kronk. He would be back again and were reportedly alerted police three days in a row - between 11 August and 13 August - and when the police encounters with him for the object in question, they could not detect anything.

The police would find possibly skull of Caylee after Kronk is the site of the skull of the Caylee four months later in December 2008 and he was called once more their. "I was behind it, so I was looking for it by behind very gently, I took [my counter drive stick] and put it in the support of the right eye," Kronk told the Court Tuesday. "I he picked up and put it back down." I up with the bat. "I rotated gently ultraportatif [he] has not been stuck in the mud, he was not stuck in what whatsoever".

Another bomb took place in the Court Tuesday when a woman named Krystal Holloway, who helped search for Caylee after that it disappeared in the summer 2008, claims that she and the father of Casey George would have a link. Why is it important to the case? Although it has yet to take the position, she alleged that George once revealed to her that the death of Caylee was a "accident that were out of control". If true and she ends up taking the stand, it could potentially defence putting doubt in the minds of the jury that the father of Casey Anthony had a hand in covering up the death of her granddaughter, who refused him up to this point.

If his testimony is allowed, it could help the defence claims that Casey Anthony has suffered sexual abuse at the hands of his brother and his father. Casey Anthony, 25, is accused of murderinig daughter Caylee and facing the death penalty if convicted.

His father, George Anthony, denied charges of abuse. Lee Anthony never was asked directly by the Crown or the defence if he has abused his sister.

An another former boyfriend of Casey Anthony, Tony Lazzaro, has already testified Florida woman said her father was physically abusive and Lee Anthony had attempted to "feel his", but did not succeed.

Who's who in the trial of the case of Anthony

Today, Jesse Grund, which at one time was engaged to Casey and thought he was the father of Caylee, said Lee Anthony as "standoffish" and "sullen" around him.

"She told me that at a time over the past years she has awakened one night with Lee standing on it,"Grund said."" He also said that Casey Anthony told him she woke again to Lee Anthony groping him.

"Everything that said Casey I taken as truth and fact...".I wanted nothing to do with him, "said Grund.

Casey Anthony appeared emotional, but not to cry as Grund spoke. Lee Anthony testified earlier in the day, but did not abuse. He has testified on his anger to the fact that his family did not invite to the birth of the Caylee.

The Defense seems to try to find ways to strengthen their theory without Casey Anthony, taking the stand. The defence argues that 2 years Caylee accidentally drowned in the family pool and George Anthony helped dispose of the body. They argue that Casey Anthony cache death of her daughter in a bizarre adaptation mechanism she learned years of sexual abuse on the part of his father and brother.

The defence said today that they have about six witnesses, even call. The judge noted the defence only if Anthony testify, it will have to confirm that this is his decision not to do so.

"The conclusion that the defence is based and if the defendant does not testify, I investigate... If it's his decision and his alone," said Perry.

Without the jury present, the judge also heard testimony of two corrections of Orange County who described Anthony as a model prisoner who is always enjoyable despite living in a cell 23 hours a day 6-by-8 feet.

"His behaviour has never changed." It was the same person. It is constant as a bee. It is never upwards or downwards, said Sergeant Dennis Moonsammy.

The judge found that the evidence concerning the behaviour of Anthony as a detainee was inadmissible.

Earlier in the day, the Defense focused on the discovery of the remains of the Caylee per metre drive Roy Kronk. Kronk said at the time that he discovered the skull of Caylee on December 11, 2008.

"I was behind it so I was looking for it by behind." I still thought it was real gently, I took [counter drive stick] and put it in the right eye support...It was something really horrific for me of course, "said Kronk.

The toddler was found in a wooded area off the coast of Suburban Drive near the family home of Anthony. With the remains of the toddler were tape coverage of Winnie the Pooh, canvas bags, black plastic garbage bags and a bottle of Gatorade with a syringe.

Casey Anthony defense team put Kronk on the stand in the hope to prove to the jury a key point of their theory of defence that Kronk moved the body and tampered with the remains of the toddler in the hope of collecting a reward.

Kronk gave testimony which was sometimes confusing. He appeared to be in conflict with previous statements, that he gave to prosecutors and law enforcement. At one point, Kronk denied ever picking up the skull or a bag that was with the remains, but later, he said he has picked up the bag, he struck three times and eventually the skull at his feet.
