The Defense accused the prosecution of "judge shopping" - NECN

(NECN: Jennifer Eagan: Boston, Mass.) -L' case Whitey Bulger became more complicated, with lawyers may agree on charges that Bulger should be judged.

The prosecution wants to focus on the charge of murder in 1999, while the defence wants that charges of murder and one count of racketeering in 1994 to be part of the entire case against the South Boston gangster.

The defence says that the prosecution wants to avoid the judge Mark Wolf, who, in the 1990s, played a role in the discovery of the relationship between the FBI and Bulger. Bulger has served as an informant for the FBI in the 1970s and 1980s in his efforts to bring down the mafia in New England. While in this role, Bulger allegedly played a role in at least 19 killings.

Counsel for the defence of prestige Howard Cooper and Max Stern were the federal courthouse in Boston, and while they were not officially appointed the Bulger team, they are reported to likely mainly to defend the mafia.
